I spoke about the dangers of geolocation and OSINT in my Pop Smoke post. It's very unfortunate, that Pnb Rock suffered the same fate.
Geolocation, refers to the use of locations to determine the whereabouts of something or someone.
If anyone clicks on a link that's embedded with a geotag ( i.e Snapchat, Instagram) they will be able to see the exact location of the post.
Pnb Rock and his girlfriend traveled to a Roscoe's House of Chicken and Waffles minutes before his premature death.
His girlfriend who has a large following on Instagram, posted a picture of her entree with a geotag.
Minutes later, gunmen came into the restaurant, demanding Pnb Rock's jewelry but ultimately ending up shooting him.
As I said in an earlier post, be very cautious of what you post online.
